Brought Back To Life.

1st day of school!!!

Was it cool? miss the sch? i dun think so... lols, what do u think of your class mates? sociable? active? haha, be it good or not, face it yea?
from what i learnt today of Ms.Loh's lecture, The Brickwall is a test of our determination=)

Today was with Ms.Loh almost all day, she showed us a video of a university person's speech, it was quite poignant and at the same time, educating. whatever that has been mentioned is impt. So pitiful... the guy has only months to live, due to a terminal disease, but he shows great determination in which most of us does not possess such ability.

He mentioned that the obstacles in our life(the brickwalls) is a test of our determination against a goal( something like that). and he said, "when i was (something) i got my 1st car, i was very excited about it then. every weekends i would bring my nephew and niece out on an adventure, so that my sister could have a break." Then he continued, "She would always tell them not to dirty my car."

The thing that i had learnt from this is when he said, "I opened a can of soda drink and poured it into my car's backseat. Yes, i poured the whole can into my backseat of the car." He continued with a strong voice, "What is this thing being dirty compared to them(the niece and nephew)? Why over a Thing, make them feel guilty?"

At that time, i was like... wow... such a person, only has months to live, and is able to say just wise things... why would such a thing happen?...
And what was so touching was that... he said," My speech made today, was for 3 ppl, and the 3 ppl are them."(Shows a picture of his 3 kids)

Sad right?... he's dying of a terminal disease, and he shows such care and love in which overwhelms not only other people, but even himself, he is able to show the most greatest love, and the utmost care for his people around him, such person... is greater than anyone i have ever seen...(to me only)

I thought over and over again... why did he make such a choice? How come he is capable of such doings? such determination, care and love, where else is there such a person so flawless? How i ever hoped, that my family were to be like him... or maybe to have him as part of my family would be best... despite him nearing to his death's door...

However... every parent shows their love and care differently, some made great sacrifices, some showed great respect, while others just nag... well, the guy who made the speech did mention, the reason why ppl nag is because they CARE, and because they know that u are able to do better... If u were to make an error, but they don't even mention it to you, is shows that they have already given up on you...

I leanrt a lot from just this video, self reflection is what is needed to think deep into every impt thing mentioned=) After Ms.Loh's Lecture, reccess, after that had Physics, Mrs. Oh-.- ( Ms Yeo Siok Koon's relief-.-'' yea right... diao!!)
quite fun for the 1st lesson, we learn about how giving unclear instructions can lead to a misunderstanding... And she apply the same concept in our sci... discussed about the remedials and so on...

Once again, time flies, 12.30pm's bell rang in no time, and, to home we go...
i was quite bored at home, done with the sci notes and also tried out some Amaths qns as requested from Mdm Chong, gotta pull up my maths...
